Downtown Coral Springs Redevelopment Gets Underway
With Groundbreaking of One Charter Place
CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – Officials of Amera Urban Developers, Inc. and the City of Coral Springs Community Redevelopment Agency broke ground today to begin construction of One Charter Place. The $25 million office and retail center, the first phase of Downtown Coral Springs, is set on a 3.9-acre site at the southeast corner of Sample Road and University Drive. The site represents the first of four quadrants at the intersection, which will be transformed into a pedestrian-friendly downtown over the next decade through a public/private partnership.

LAUDERHILL, Fla. – Amera Broward Central, Inc., a subsidiary of the Amera Corporation, announced it recently signed agreements with the City of Lauderhill to build “Carishoca – A Caribbean Village”.
Plans call for $100 million in new development for the Village, to be located at the intersection of State Road 7 and West Sunrise Boulevard, adjacent to Broward County’s $50 million regional park now under construction. FORT LAUDERDALE, FL. – A pivotal 18-acre site at the northwest quadrant of the Broward Boulevard/I-95 interchange is poised to become a campus-style office park – and a major economic contributor to Fort Lauderdale’s future.
